My first thought while writing this post is that I need come up with creative post names, or maybe name them based on the content in the post.  However, I did not want to prolong the start of this post by thinking of different titles.  I want to quickly get content on this website so that it feels less empty.  I want to commit to posting once a day, not just to create content quickly, but also to create a habit of putting content onto my website.  At this point, I do not have any idea what my hopes are for this website in terms of web traffic, but I do know that I should post consistently and regularly to have any views on the website.  These early posts may tend to be planning for the website, but I intend to start putting content on the other pages as well.  I am thinking that this website can also be a sort of sounding board for different websites.  I intend to have pages that are focused on particular subjects that interest me.  There is the chance that one or more of pages starts to have web traffic.  In that case I could transition the page into its own website.  That is something I can consider more when the time comes.  I am not going into this project expecting that type of success from any of my ideas.  All that said, I am writing this website for my own enjoyment and I am looking forward to creating some content to share with anyone who wants to read.  In particular, I am excited to put some content on the Half Loop page.  This is a page that will describe my trip down the rivers, starting from Lake Michigan and ending at the tip of Florida.  This will be a good way for me to share photos and stories from that trip with friends and family.

Start.  That is what I am doing here.  Just jumping in.  I have thought about creating a website for a while now, but have put it off time and time again.  So, here is the first stab at it.  I am looking to make a general lifestyle blog and the content is based entirely on all things I currently think are interesting.  I plan to have a few main categories, but also post whatever is on my mind.  I am making this website to have an interesting creative outlet.  I do not expect to have many people reading any of my posts, but if you have somehow stumbled in here, then welcome and enjoy.
